Mission Bio - Tapestri Single-cell Multi-Omics Platform
Mission Bio unlocks the ground truth of cancer through response, relapse, and remission with its Tapestri Platform, powered by single-cell multi-omics. As the first and only to analyze genotype and phenotype simultaneously in single cells, the Tapestri Platform can help unravel the inherent complexity of cancer. The technology helps discern key biomarkers to stratify patients more precisely, signal treatment resistance as it begins, and predict relapse for better patient outcomes. Application areas include oncology blood cancers, solid tumors, and genome editing validation.

Video-animation for a biomedical engineering project at the interface between medicine and engineering in a research topic called organs-on-chip (OOC). OOCs are in-vitro models aimed at replacing animal experiments. These systems are aimed at being used by clinicians for precision medicine as well as by the pharmaceutical industry. A lung-on-chip is a small device (like an advanced Petri dish) used in the laboratory, in which cells from the patients are cultured and tested with different drugs to identify the best treatment option for each patient.
